Supported Living

Opal Housing provides supported living services for Young People and Vulnerable Adults.

Floating Support

At Opal Housing we provide floating support to our service users that have transitioned to independent living but still require support. We aim for each individuals to have access to continuous support when appropriate with staff members, they have a relationship with.

Supported Living

Opal Housing is a London-based company that provides supported living services for Young People and Vulnerable Adults.

Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. We offer daytime and evening services, including waking nights. We provide support and tailored packages that meet each service user’s needs.

Our homes are of a high standard and are examined on a quarterly basis. Every service user will have their own spacious room and access to communal areas such as, kitchen, lounge, dining room, games room, bathroom and garden.

Floating Support

What is Floating Support?

At Opal Housing we provide floating support to our service users that have transitioned to independent living. The service is not linked to the service users living in our homes. In principle, a person receiving floating support could be a tenant, licensee, owner occupier or living in someone else’s household, the service will help maintain and increase independence and manage any risks.

The types of services incorporated in our floating service:

Personalised Support Plan;

When a floating service is deemed appropriate through assessments and evaluations, service users will have an opportunity to be part of the development of their support planning to ensure that it is person centred and the individuals have autonomy. What will be covered in the plan and assessment:

  • The kind of support that is needed
  • Risk assessment to ensure the property is appropriate for the individual
  • Target building to plan for your future that is outcome driven and measurable
  • How often the individuals want support
  • Who will be involved in the support plan including other professionals, families and advocates?
